Arlewood Estate Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
This Arlewood house style is very essence of modern Margaret River white blends. Aromatic and lifted on the nose, with concentrated citrus, minerality and tang on the palate. Not simply fruity and herbaceous, but more structured and savoury to the core. Long and fine, with a pristine and slightly slippery texture from partial barrel fermentation. A wine that drinks well on its own, but really gallops along with food. Varieties: 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Semillon. Maturation: Sauvignon Blanc tank fermented; 20% Semillon component matured in new French oak barriques for 2 months.
